In-House Training Intern Position at International Company

Rapidly expanding international shipping company based in Shanghai with offices in Shenzhen and Beijing. This company is part of the United Express Group. United Express has nearly 20 subsidiaries and shareholding entreprises, including world-renowned shipping companies, such as Evergreen Marine, Joint Arab, Wan Hai Lines, and well-known port companies, such as Cheung Kong and Hutchison holdings.

It has 17 years of operating history based in the shipping service of the modern logistics industry and its other operations include Logistics, Project investment, E-commerce and Shipping Finance. It has over 600 employees in China, many with a high standard of English and a westernized workplace.

Responsibilities

The In-House Training Intern will be responsible for developing and coordinating internal training for members of the Chinese work-force, particularly in oral and written English, plus the general promotion of a fun, English environment.

The training will also include various business skills such as giving presentations and writing e-mails. The role will also include some creativity to develop an English environment, plus a focus on developing and managing colleague relationships through day-to-day contact. The position will also involve occasional file work and commercial activity, such as editing and presenting reports, presentations, etc. More details to be confirmed.

Qualifications

  • Native English speaker
  • Bachelor degree
  • At least basic Chinese preferred, but not essential
  • Teaching and/or commercial experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic personality
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (to adapt to Chinese workplace)
  • Strong achiecement orientation and time management
